Viñas del Vero S.A. was established in Somontano by the end of 1986 with the purchase of 550 hectares of land in Babastro and other neighbouring areas. Viñas del Vero is currently the leading winery among those holding the Somontano appelation of origin because of the amount and quality of its production. The company has 1.100 hectres of vineyards and produces over 6.5 million bottles a year. Its wines can be found in more that 44 countries.
